  Service staff helpful and provided good explanation of cost breakdown. £399 for 2 year service for Nissan Juke with 3,350 miles on the clock is however expensive. Unable to start the car during the proceeding week and informed the cause was due to the key batteries requiring replacement at a cost of £5 each. Why does the spare key also stop working when it has never been used? Why wasn’t this information given when the car was purchased? When queried I was told by car service receptionist that the short life of the key batteries was normal. Informed I was lucky not to have had to replace batteries earlier as they typically last less time! This can’t be right and if so Nissan has an inherent defect! I expected more empathy to my query with an offer to refer to Nissan HQ for technical investigation.
